Thank you for participating in 2024’s So You Think You Can Cook event! We are planning an amazing event this year and you are invited to compete with us. As you already know, it is a great opportunity to promote your business, support your local community and Souderton Telford Main Streets through a fun cooking competition for amateurs only.
So You Think You Can Cook Wednesday April 3, 2024
Chefs Arrive: 5:00pm Doors Open to Public: 6:00pm
Guests will be served from 6:00 – 8:00pm with awards at 8:30pm
Chefs and one assistant are free and your package includes three (3) voting tickets & 1 drink ticket. The ticket price for additional attendees that you pay for is $18 for each attendee.

Additional voting tickets will be available for purchase at checkout & that night at regular pricing. A cash bar with beer and wine will be available.
Chefs may arrive at 5:00 pm at Perseverance Fire Company, Souderton and be ready by 5:45 pm.
Please bring:
• Chefs must provide 175 SAMPLE SIZE* of their dish.
• Please confirm your dish for accurate listings on the sign at your station when registering
• Chefs may bring one assistant, free of charge (no pros, please).
• All serving utensils and containers (i.e. 2-4oz cups with lids or individually wrapped).
• Any necessary items to keep your dish hot or cold (crockpot, hotplate, cooler) – we will provide electricity. We will have some extension cords on hand, but if you know you need power, bring an extension cord.
• Gloves are required when handling food samples.
• Apron (if desired; the more creative, the better).
• Decorations for your table including tablecloths.
Provided for you at the event by THI:
• Sporks and napkins will be placed at each table
• Chefs will receive 3 voting tickets, 1 drink ticket, scorecard.
• A sign at your station that includes your name, company, and what you’re serving.
• Advance ticket sales are recommended so you can invite family, friends, and colleagues to be your dedicated cheering section and vote for you.
Awards:
• Golden Spork: the chef with the most voting tickets will win earn this coveted prize! Attendees are encouraged to purchase extra tickets to vote early and often!
• Judges Choice: local celebrity judges will choose one chef who prepares the finest cuisine
• Fan Favorite: Attendees score their “faves.” Winner is announced the day after the event via social media.
• Creative Cook: Telford Happenings Board Members will choose the chef with the best decorated cooking station.
